BRITISH FLAG DAY

Saturday 18th November 2023

WHAT?

We want to normalise the display of our national flag, the Union Flag (or Jack)

The aim of #BritishFlagDay is to communicate the message to the Government, Parliament and media that the Nation is in increasing distress.

We are seeing everyone else’s flags on the streets of our towns and cities. The Union Jack is the national flag of the United Kingdom, and it is time that it too is seen, seen in an expression of steadfastness, resilience and, moreover, concern at the disregard increasingly shown for the laws of our land, and at the disrespect shown to the history, customs, monuments, and events that are such an important part of our own culture, way of life and identity.

In a peaceful, polite and humbly patriotic expression of our devotion to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, we seek to remind everyone that the streets of Britain are British streets.

We want to create a show of Union Jacks across the country on the 18th November. We shall also hoist one in Old Palace Yard, opposite the Palace of Westminster. We shall hoist it the wrong way up, in the age-old signal of distress. We shall do this as an expression of the concern, and distress, that is beginning to rouse people of all races, colours and creeds who live in these islands and consider that the very foundations on which our society was built are rapidly being eroded. We call on the Government to end appeasement.
